I remember when I went to the Bergamot Station - Lois Lambert's Gallery of Functional Art in Santa Monica, CA, I saw this installation by Tanya Clarke. I guess she's gotten herself more media attention because she seems to have a lot more installations around the country.

I've seen lots of pizza trucks and pizza stands, but this has to be the far coolest one!

cute sanrio tops

I've always loved Sanrio stuff since I was in kindergarten. But at this age, it's hard to carry any of that stuff without looking like a "kid". But this stuff from Uniqlo, doesn't look so bad. Cute but not super "kiddish". I think the bow detail in the back is super fab!

deconstructive lamp

I ran across this deconstructive looking lamp on the Alessi website. It looks odd, but the idea of it is awesome. Obviously it will look cool at night when it's illuminated, but the geometric shadows it casts is a killer!

Where do I keep my rings?

One of my best friends got me this for my birthday. It's by a German product designer, Stephan Koziol. Plain awesome!

Kayaking the Na Pali Coast in Kauai!

We're going to Kayak for 6 hrs (16 miles) the Na Pali Coast next month!! Then we're going to camp for 2 nights at the end of the trip at Miloli'i Valley (only accessible by water)! Pictures of the great adventure will be posted.

Mathias Klotz

One of my favorite architects is Mathias Klotz. His architecture could be described as very pure, simple, and elegant. I love how he uses a lot of natural light in his spaces. He uses pure materials: steel, glass, and wood.

Our future ATM machine... hopefully...

The coolest ATM booth designed / developed by Edra Equipamentos. The walls and ceilings are made from polymers derived by a fusion of recycled plastics, such as PET bottles, and renewable sources such as oilseed plants. The PV panels on the roof help fuel the LED lights throughout the night, and while during the day natural light floods in through a clear "Solatube" system coated with a film from 3M that blocks more than 80 percent of infrared rays to help keep the interior cool.

Wedding Invitations

I have a website to showcase some of my wedding invitation designs. After my own wedding I got interested in making other kinds. Originally I wanted my invitations letterpressed, but because of its old fashioned ways, it's very labor intensive, making it extremely pricey. So I made my own and it looks just as good as letterpress, but only a quarter of the cost.
